La transcription de “Sevilla” d’Isaac Albéniz pour guitare est née de ma fascination pour la richesse rythmique et mélodique de cette œuvre, initialement écrite pour piano et inspirée de la sevillana, l’un des genres les plus emblématiques de la musique populaire espagnole. En transcrivant la pièce, j’ai cherché à préserver l’énergie et la vivacité caractéristiques de cette danse, tout en explorant les possibilités expressives et dynamiques de la guitare pour mettre en valeur l’essence flamenca d’Albéniz. Cette adaptation offre une nouvelle perspective sur l’œuvre, permettant aux guitaristes et aux auditeurs de ressentir l’intensité et les couleurs de “Séville” d’une manière plus intime et directe.
